　　职位描述及具体要求：

　　1.Manage corn pipeline from Stage 0 thorough Stage 3 by leading following activities:

　　.Plan breeding crosses and primary and secondary tester(s) for populations.

　　.Allocate allotted nursery, topcross and replicated trial resources on mainland and contra season location(s)

　　.Determine number of breeding starts, extensiveness of sampling and number of reps & environments of testing.

　　.Make selections and advancement decisions through Stage 3 (or 4); together with PEA, agree on hybrid promotions from Stage 3 to Stage 4ork towards maximum efficiency of germplasm improvement (genetic gain and cost)

　　.Ensure appropriate technology integration in germplasm improvement projects and product development processes

　　.Plan, evaluate and implement where appropriate marker-assisted breeding (MAB), DH and other breeding tools.

　　Participate in global sharing of information on breeding protocol improvement

　　2.Maintain a thorough understanding of available germplasm, performance and needs of similar maturities with Syngenta’s global program.

　　.Participate in all China plot tours and advancement meetings

　　.Attend International plot tours and advancement meetings as appropriate

　　.Coordinate exchange of germplasm within Syngenta’s global corn program

　　3.Assist PEA and Product Managers with decisions on conversions and product advancement, placement and support of all brands / market channels.

　　4.Work with Station Manager to provide feedback that allows continuous improvement in plot quality and testing efficiency
